Welcome to The Activity Director's Companion CEU Program Web site!
Earning CEUs (Continuing Education Units) is now as simple as logging on to your computer! Just follow the easy-to-understand steps listed below to earn CEUs in multi-dimensional areas of learning, all of which are aligned to the NCCAP Body of Knowledge curriculum.
STEP 1
Each issue of The Activity Director's Companion includes an identified CEU article. Read this article, making sure you understand its content and purpose.
STEP 2
Read the supplemental material for the CEU article of your choice. It is found on the Resources and Tests page and goes into more detail about the information presented in the original article. It also offers practical exercises to use in presenting the concept to the residents at your facility, which will be required as part of your Evaluation Test for earning CEUs.
STEP 3
When you’re ready, click the Take the Test link for the CEUs you’d like to earn. This will take you to a log in page where you will need to enter your Name, Phone number, and E-mail address, as well as the Authorization Code that was E-mailed to you when you subscribed to the CEU Program. (Be sure to use the same Email address you used when enrolling in the CEU program.) After logging in, complete the Evaluation Test by correctly answering all the questions.
STEP 4
After reviewing your answers, click SUBMIT to send your test to The Activity Director's Companion staff for review. Your test results will be e-mailed to you within one week. If approved, your Certificate of Completion for that CEU article will be sent at that time. You can print out the Certificate for mailing or you can e-mail it directly to NCCAP. The NCCAP Approval Number for the Unit will appear on the Certificate.
